Our camp in Costa Rica
Pristine beaches straight out of a tropical dream, waterfalls hidden amongst lush rainforests, exciting activities and amazing surf makes Costa Rica a thrilling destination for anyone who wants to learn how to surf. Santa Teresa has warm water all year round and ideal conditions for those who want to catch their first wave or skilled surfers who want to explore new horizons.
We love the Costa Rican surf, offering warm tropical water and clean waves for all levels of surfers. Our new surf camp in Costa Rica is just a short walk away from Playa Carmen in Santa Teresa, which is overflowing with great waves. A short drive north is the gorgeous Playa Hermosa, where we run most of our surf lessons in learner friendly waves. More experienced surfers get their thrills at regional classics around town such as La Lora and Suck Rock.
Costa Rica
A typical day
We alternate between surfing early and late in the day, and when we’re surfing early we’re up somewhat early in order to enjoy the mornings when the surf is the best. When your body is surfed out we head back to the camp and have a well-deserved lunch. The rest of the day is pretty much up to you; whether you want to stay by the pool, go to the beach, to town, or go on one of the many local attractions (beautiful beaches, jungle, horse riding, waterfalls etc.) After this, we serve dinner five times a week at the camp where we relive all the epicness of the day.
